AG Scholars (Application closed for 2024)
Our goal is to support 500 first-generation, low-income Montgomery County, MD seniors with FREE college admissions and financial aid workshops by 2030. The program runs from June through August.
Criteria to apply:
- Family income below $75,000
- First in family to attend college
- 3.0 or higher GPA
- MCPS rising senior

President Obama selected 100 leaders between the ages of 25 to 45 to carry his legacy in various sectors. Dr. Hesse completed the six-month leadership program and met President Obama in Chicago.
