Dr. Hesse created a course titled Enrollment Management: The Student Lifecycle for Georgetown University's Masters in Higher Education Administration program. He will teach the course as a faculty member for Summer 2021.

Dr. Hesse was invited back to his alma mater as a guest panelist to provide career tips with a focus on Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion.

Dr. Hesse was interviewed about his life experiences and doctoral research before graduation. His dissertation focused on training admission counselors in the state of Maryland on better recruitment of undocumented students to colleges. 

Admissions Gambit Cofounders’ alma mater is the University of Maryland, College Park (UMCP). The Diamondback, UMCP’s official newspaper, published an op-ed written by Dr. Hesse advocating for financial aid for undocumented students in the state of Maryland. 

After the 2016 presidential election, Dr. Hesse moderated a “Race in America” forum on Latino identity with experts from education, medicine, business, and journalism.

Montgomery College (MC) interviewed Dr. Hesse in 2013 highlighting his difficult upbringing and how MC changed his life after high school. The article was reposted in 2015.
