Keynote for mcps teachers
Dr. Hesse provided a keynote to teachers in K-12 Montgomery County Public Schools (MCPS) in Rockville, MD. He shared his personal story navigating the MCPS system as a first-generation, low-income Latino student.
Race in Admissions
After the Supreme Court ruled that colleges cannot use race in admissions, we have seen an uptick on diversity essays. We will monitor underrepresented student enrollments as new data comes out in 2024.
completed the Obama Leaders Program
Dr. Hesse completed a six-month leadership program through the Obama Foundation which concluded with a trip to Chicago to meet with President Obama in November.

Obama Foundation USA Leaders Program
Dr. Erwin Hesse is among the first cohort of 100 emerging change makers selected to participate in the Obama Foundation’s Leaders USA program.
2023 MCPS Summer RISE Students
We hosted five exceptional student interns from Montgomery County Public Schools (MCPS) to learn about marketing and entrepreneurship over the summer.

Graduation Speaker
Dr. Erwin Hesse returned to his alma mater, Rockville High School, as the commencement speaker for the class of 2023.
